The next walk will be on October 9, 2011 on the Walkway Over the Hudson. we will be on the Poughkeepsie and Highland sides
All of our walks are for people of all ages, and you can walk at your own pace, the first was Sunday November 4, 2007. It began at 9:00am and ended at noon; parking was in Canale Field behind Thorton garage on West Main Street in the village of Wappingers Falls, NY.
At Canale Field there is a park where kids can play while the parents sign in and it isn't too close to the road so no small children can wander into the road and get hurt. And there is plenty of room for parking. The route for the walk is also the POW/MIA highway which ties in nicely with our cause.
