We raised in total $540, 34 people participated in the walk, and we collected enough food to fill up the back of my moms' van. It was a beautiful morning, not too cold, and not too hot. There was a nurse stationed at Mesier Park, but no one even felt short of breath.

Here are some pictures from the walk....

Debbie our nurse stationed at Mesier Park, good luck with your studies. And everyone else who helped make our first walk a success.

Hannaford super market manager Ray donated enough water and snacks for 150 people. The Womens' Auxiliary of the American Legion also donated cases of water and fruit roll-ups for our first walk.

Boston Market gave discounts for all the walkers who wanted to get something to eat or drink. We also had name tags for all the walkers to be identified, this way there were no problems or complications.
