On November 2nd, The walk went from 11:00am-2:00pm, at Canale Field in the Village of Wappingers on West Main Street. The sign-in table was the front of Thortons' gas station/garage; we were given permission to set up there by the owner, Ron. There was no entrance fee. We collected about $1,000 worth of non perishable food, $777 in cash and checks; we also sold tee shirts, and gave out balloons to kids. Registration was from 11:00am-noon; the walk itself began at noon. We had volunteers carry signs.
