The next walk will be May 16th of this year at Thortons' gas station in Wappingers Falls, on 9d / West Main street. Parking is behind Thortons' at Canale Field.

Food Fight For Vets is not associated with Castle Point. We help the food pantry when they can't get to the food bank and they need food. We go to the store; not the food bank.
The food pantry is run by the volunteers of castle Point. It is not government funded. And expired food is discarded, not distributed.

Food Fight For Vets is sponsored by the Carmen Ramputi Det.861 Marine Corps League of Dutchess County. This makes Food Fight For Vets a non profit organization. Any donations can be sent to:

HELP WANTED!
We set up tables/booths at a variety of events. We are looking for volunteers to help us set up, give out information, collect donations, and clean up. If you are interested please email armygirl91@optonline.net or call (845)298-7522.

The pantry needs food to put on the shelves, and a donation here and there from scattered sources just isn't cutting it. Instead of decent sized donations every few months from scattered scources; I would like to have constant small donations. I don't mean the same people donating all the time. Collection would be more effective that way. Think about this; if one million people donated one dollar each, it would add up to be a one million dollar donation.
